This new moon in Cancer at 24 degrees is ripe for manifestation but not without digging deep into spiritual and emotional depths. 24 degrees is a Pisces degree and water sign Pisces is all about imagination, creation, disguises, illusions, transcendence, merging psychic impressions and the soul.  

The sign of Cancer where the new moon takes place is also a water sign. Deeply emotional and intense, Cancer is about family, the home, instincts, intuition, manipulation, maternal instincts, memories, moods, nostalgia, security, vulnerability. 

It's a deep one, and taking this new moon even deeper into the depths of our inner primordial depths is an opposition to Pluto. Wherever Pluto is involved, there's an element of intensity along with willpower. You can find yourself tapping into deep reserves in order to achieve your desires, becoming obsessive and hyper focused on your goals. Be mindful not to create strong oppositions from others whether that be individuals, organisations or higher ups  through your tenacity. Avoid conflicts and power struggles however at the same time be assertive and don't allow yourself to be taken advantage of. It’s truly a balancing act between wielding your inner power yet not so abrasively that you alienate others. Be firm but fair. It’s a good idea to retreat when needed and tune into your inner guidance system. 

This new moon squares the north and south nodes in Aries and Libra which will have just changed signs for the first time in 18 months. It really is time to start putting yourself first. If your existence has been dictated by the needs of others until now, you will really start to feel an urge to start putting yourself first. For the next 18 months whilst The north node transits Aries, it's all about you. What is your destiny? What is your legacy? Do your family and relationships help or hinder you? How can you strike a balance? Do you need help? How can you get it? What is your self image and are you satisfied with it? How can you transform what you are unhappy with? Are you satisfied with how you present yourself? You will probably start to look at how you can best serve your own self interests if you've been putting others and your loyalties to them first. Over the next 18 months you will confront this and begin to put yourself at the forefront. Remember, you have to put your own life jacket on before you can help others. 

A trine from Neptune in Pisces softens the intensity of this new moon and adds a spiritual essence. I feel this trine sends a message that regardless of what transpires, surrender to your inner spirituality and you will manifest your innermost desires. Yes, use your force and willpower but on an internal level. Pray. Your sensitivity and empathy is heightened at this time. It is a perfect time to meditate and dig deep to gain some valuable insights. With all the influence from water signs and planets this new moon. It is apt to dive into your sea of emotions, explore your depths and see what you can bring with you to inform and guide you as you move forward. You should set goals through meditation to manifest your hopes and dreams. A spiritual perspective will be beneficial for your ego at this time.

Another aspect worth mentioning is the sextile to Uranus which is currently moving through Taurus. Something unexpected may happen so there could be an element of shock and surprise at this time. It will act as a catalyst for change. It could have something to do with a group of people. Or maybe you'll tap into the manifesting energies of this new moon along with others, through the use of technology or by using social media. You can gain more self awareness at this time through groups or find a way to increase or manage your resources through collaboration with others. Through groups you can gain more awareness of your self-image. You might look at yourself and start to question the role you play and how you fit in. Remember if there's anything that needs to be changed or adjusted, set the intention and with this lunation, you will manifest. This aspect also stimulates creativity. You might gain intuitive hits, make new discoveries or find new efficient ways to get things done and be productive. Uranus aspects can be a bit destabilising so always remember to ground yourself and return to centre. 

Overall this is a fantastic new moon for manifesting especially if you are willing to dig deep and trust the unseen. It’s an intense opposition to Pluto however the trine from Neptune softens things. Yes you want to change, to transform to achieve but you will need to surrender. Use this intensity to manifest rather than being overwhelmed by your emotions. The North node in aries says it’s all about you! No, you're not being selfish, take the reins, you are the key.
